Two wires running from back up light switch

That makes sense..... "The dangling wire" appears to be long enough to reach exactly to the fuse box, but I guess I'd better make sure the other one isn't going there already......... (POSSIBLE SMOKE OUTSIDE OF THE WIRES?) O:)
