My 71 Duster Project

My back is all healed up for the time being so I started work on the car again. I started by removing the quarter window. That was actually a very easy process! Here are some before and after pictures of the rearend and parts that attach to it. I have the new leaf springs and brackets all ready to go. There was a lot of corrosion on the old leaf spring shackles. Come to find out, they were not even the right ones to begin with. I ordered and received the correct ones. There are some comparison pics. The rearend is all degreased and stripped down ready for new paint. I was going to paint it this weekend, but the winds would not allow for it so I will try again next weekend.
