Your opinion:did I buy to small a radiator??

I also think your fine. The best answer is to try it out. I know here if FL. it is getting hotter earlier. I am watching my cooling issues too. Aluminum radiators are nice to get rid of that heat. Just remember to be realistic. This is Florida not Minnesota, the driving heat your engine is exposed to is very different. Also the higher the compression, there is a difference with a motor with 8.5:1 comp. vs 10:1. You can't expect the same op. temps. it just took some adjustment for me too. H2O boils in that motor at about 250 degrees with a 16 lbs. cap. Best of luck.
