C.W. McCall - I always loved that song, I used to listen to that song way back in the
70's when I was a kid. C.W. McCall used to be a DJ out here in omaha, he started his recording career by doing "jingles" for radio ads. (Old Home Bread co etc.).
I like the part ".......and sat on a petrified apple core and found a bunch of field mice living in the glove compartment.......don't pay no mind to that whirrin' sound, she could use a little bit of oil but, outside of that, she's cherry......"
I liked some of his other "sayings" in other songs like "that girl was built like a burlap bag full of bobcats, not a hell of a lot upstairs but from there on down....disneyland.."
