ss springs,pinion angle check

After putting in super stock springs I am doing a pinion angle check. I have searched all the threads and gathered info but would just like a double check on my numbers before I order shims.
The trans is pointed down 1.1 degrees, the driveshaft is at 4.5 degrees down and the rear axle is at 3.6 degrees down. After this I think I need a 2 degree shim to bring the pinion up this would give me a -2.7 pinion angle and a rough pinion to driveshaft angle in the 4-5 range. Does this sound correct? These numbers are with the front tires on ramps and the rear tires on blocks maybe 1 inch higher than ramps (all I had) and car empty with about 1/2 tank of gas. Thanks

Your numbers are correct according to the way I understand setting pinion angle. 2.7 would be great for a street car. 4.7 would probably be preferred for a street strip car.
