Delayed reaction in starting?
I would look into a starter relay and check the crank signal going to the relay. Make sure that you are getting the signal to the relay as soon as you hit the key. If the relay is not grounded properly it can cause a delay as it will try to search for a ground. Try this for testing purposes. Take the G terminal on the relay and take it straight to ground. This will by pass the neutral saftey switch. So be cautious that the car is not in gear. See if that makes any difference. I had this problem ( well similar problem) once before and it was the relay causing the issue.
