early abody ball joint differences?

I think the 10" drum brake cars use the big ball joint on the upper control arm? I know the disc brake cars do. All the lower control arms are the same with the exception of the sway bar mounts. The 67 - 72 swaybar mounts are on the bottom of the lower control arm and the 73 - 76 are on the top of the lower control arm.
