Mickey Thompson ET Streets

If they are a DOT tubeless tire, no tubes. If you run tubes on the street, it just builds heat in the tire from friction. JMO.

Same tire I ran on my Dart Sport. I didn't run tubes in them.

Now I run tubes in mine on the street, But I have them because I race mine also.

I had a different set I ran at the track. If I had to do it all over again with two sets I would have went with the radials for the street.

I have these on my 66 Barracuda on the street without tubes. One of them loses air over time and the other one never loses air. I am thinking about going to some sort of radial tires.

I had the exact same tire on my 71 Demon street strip car. I ran tubes. better air control for when I raced and i I could didn't have to worry about losing air for the weeks / months I only drove on the street. prior to tubes, both tires lost air fast over the course of 2 weeks.

Did yall spend the $70 one tubes or is there another source for these? Excuse me thats $70 per tube

I did spend $60 a tube. If you want to race, M/T recommends tubes if I remember right. Plus, less chance of losing the bead at the track or on the street if your rim would happen to spin on the tire. If you buy the tubes you may have to open up the valve stem hole on most wheels.

My wheels are 15 x 10 x 4.5, My tires are the ET Streets 28 x 13.5. I only run air pressure at 20-25 on the street. M/T DOT tires are rated at that for the street. You can run more air pressure if you want. I also have a set of M/T sportman Pro's with tubes in them for racing and the street, they are only 28 x 12.50s.

soak the inside of the tire with dish soap and let it sit. It will seal the pores in the rubber and keep them from losing air.

Got a trick we use for sand car paddle tires with aluminium rims. They don't like to stay up either. Use some alumiseal aluminium radiator sealer mixed with antifreeze.
