Test and tune tomorrow
Well I got the Comp shocks put on the car today and changed out the 600 Holly to the 750 Edelbrock. I took it for a test run and it pulled hard to 6,000 and I shifted. The little holly would just pull to 5,600-5,700 and was starving the last second or two of the run.
What is a "safe" shift point for me if it is still pulling hard? 6,000? 6,200?
The 600 Holly ran like this:
1.84 60' and a 13.1 at 103mph
How do you think the 750 will do?
