904 or 727

I would say the 904 unless you are going to make enough power to break it. Added transmission weight, rotating mass are going to affect your performance and fuel economy on the 727. Also, I read you can get a low gear set out of an a500 for the 904. Then when you do the rebuild you will have a light trans with a low first.
