Wednesday night at the Strip
finally got the ladder bars and coil over done on 71 Demon, also put new #8 fuel line on it easier to get over and under new everything now. The Super Stock Spring were 3400 lbs models..and the rear shackels that were in the frame rail would not move back n forth.
Got car loaded up...head out to see if the car would go straight and not wonder all over track.
Nice warm day in Vegas...about 92 degrees with the DA @ 4300 feet...
first pass i want to make sure the car will go straight....

Engine shut off in the traps or just before....I looked in the mirror for a trail of smoke and parts...but nothing...coasted and make left turn at end of track....pulled off the side..engine turned over but would not start...pulled hood off...starting looking around and bingo...coil wire had popped out of distributor cap...LOL...
I had to adjust seat back...as i felt like i was sitting in the back seat...after getting seat back more upwright..

I decided to bring up converter more...and car launched good..but the seat brace in back bend...LOL..so seat moved backwards...and I took foot out of gas pedal...
So had a good night....Need to do a little adjusting on the right height on the shocks...and fix seat brace...car ran fine...engine sounded good...need to check on jetting...hook up FAST A/F meter...
