1973 Duster

So now that I have put my hood on the car for the picture I have noticed that the hood hinges make all kinds of noise when closing and opening.

now I have put a hydralic cylinder (I know it is spelled wrong) on the trunk and it opens and closes nice and quiet, but my hood is out of control with the noise.

Has anyone who might read this have changed out their hood hinge for something a little more modern and quieter and if so where or what did you do. I need ideas before I start to experiment with a spare hinge
