76orange I have noticed that there are very little Duster's at car shows, yes that is a bummer. I was thinking about hiding the strut rods in the fender perhaps using a small strut rod like they use to do Lambo doors.
The picture does look good and I will probably end up with something like that, but have to consider hiding it first.
I used those rods for my trunk and they work great.

No problem, also I remember reading Tincups build and he was trying the same thing... you might want to check out his build, pg 26 post #637 and pg 27 post #668. Maybe he will respond on this issue or drop him a PM to see if he can save you some time.
