ok, i picked up a 72 challenger the other day. it does need work, but not alot of body work. 318 car, auto, console. the car is complete, but interior needs to be all redone.
also have the 318 3 speed 72 duster roller. the car is in decent shape with hardly and rust at all. just a few small spots.

i found a guy local that has a 65 belvedereII with a 440 hp, 4 speed, 3 91 suregrip, dual exaust, daily driver. it needs shocks, but other than that, it has no rust, and is solid as heck. origionally a 318 car.

HE WANTS TO TRADE HIS FOR MY 2 CARS. both of mine are projects, and i would not mind having a driver for the summer.

i do not have pics of the cars right now, but sound like a decent trade? who is getting the short end of the stick? are the 65 belvedereII and desirable?

Im kind of partial to 72 challengers. I would keep the chally

well varlo, you know the drill.lol it cost alot more to get one even to daily driver quality than it does with an a body though, and this b II already has a 4 speed setup in it is what i like.

even on flippin aspect, ( as you alol know, if the price is right, i'll sell)
is the chally and duster worth more as rollers, than the driver 65 bII?

If you like the Belvedere, go for it. Just depends on what you want. Of course the Challenger is now desirable, so it depends on what your after.

Aw what the heck you need them all! Can't have too many Mopars. LOL

The way you find cars,is this really a hard decision?LOL.I vote trade, love the 65 Belve

I agree with pettybludart. I would trade. I really like the 65 belvedere II, especially with a 440 4 speed combo and a 3.91 gear. Sounds like one heck of a fun summer ride.

i would trade enjoy then sell and buy a done abody if feel the need

If you do trade, we still want pictures even if it isn't an A body.

you guys may hate me ,but honestly,I wouldnt trade.Ive always wanted a Challenger but hard for me to find cheap,so its just my opinion.
Up to you though.

well, i too have been looking for a challenger for quite some time, bvut they are one of two things. one being out of price range, or two, being so cheap, but a rot bucket

this one is in between, and i got it at a great price. but what hurt finaicnally was it costing 1,300.00 to go get it, and the night we got back in town, i lost my wallet with all remaining cash i had!.
so, i need to either trade both cars for the b II, or sell the duster, and put it into the chally. oh, i also still have that 383 and 727 trans, but the belve having the four speed and all, just has me ithching for another.lmao

its just a frowning face challenger and a duster that needs work, I would trade esp since the BII has a 440 and a 4spd. (18 spline? dana 60?)

tough call, I'd have to see pics of the cars to really make a choice, but the Challenger will be more desireable (even the 72-74s) when fixed up.
So I'd look at how close the Challenger will be to daily driver quality if you sell the Duster?
Good luck

65 belvederes are expensive cars to find also, as well as the 65 dodge coronet. I would trade because there is no doubt that if you get another itch for a challenger, you could sell or trade that belvedere and get a fairly decent running driving challenger.
