fuel pump carb - easy question ;-)

I managed to mount a Holley gear rotor pump in that spot okay, but beware, the thing was so damn noisy I couldn't stand it and sent it back. I may have been able to lessen the problem with some rubber isolater mounts, but I could hear the pump over open headers, so I went with a little parts store generic solenoid style pump. That's why I'm holding out for a custom fuel tank with internal pump if I ever go to injected.
