Yeah sorry about that, I was sick when I saw how bad it was crushed SleeperScamp. I was in my 20s back then and these roamed the street a lot in the 70's in socal. Also thanks for the link and doc. I new it was not the opriginal trans behind the 340, car had a dana 60 rear end, but was damaged. I shoulda got the 340 for $100 back then too. So it appears it is a 74-75 trans from a 340 or 360 HD application. Bet it came out of a Dodge truck. I own a 78 D150 with a 318-3 truck motor and it has a beefy 727 with the larger planetaries and drum clutch stacks too.
