383hp motor,crank grind with new bearings,kb400 pistons,crank,rods pistons balanced,crane 525lift cam,906 heads opened up with stainless valves,double valve springs,m1 intake,proform 750dp race series carb,tti headers,2.5 system,holley blue pump,alley waterpump,millodon deep pan sump,hp oil pump,cheetah reverse pattern valve body,turbo action 10"verter,hurst pro2 shifter,83/4 suregrip with 3.55,s. = big

Nice, that's what I'm doin now. A 400 727 in a 71 Duster.
I have a good bit less cam than you (.465"/.488"), and suffering with some serious issues, (had to shift at 5,000 rpms), I ran a 12.80 @ 103 on my third pass. I doubt 12's with your combo should be a problem.

how do you like those pistons? whats your opp on that proform carb?any good?
