Now I'm getting confused. This is all new to me but I'm reading that my car should have an 8 3/4 rearend in it...I was under the impression the A-body rearends were not very strong. Whats the piece of the puzzle I'm not understanding?

There are generally 3 different rears found under an A body, YOU must find out which one. The two weaker ones have removable rear covers. The 8 3/4 is the only Mopar rear with a "third member" type setup.
