340 vrs 360

lol. for an extra 2K i want something faster not "just as fast".

hell take a long time to get that 2K back in gas mileage.

and you would still have to deal with that awful fart sound coming from that slannty. may as well go get a honda and get really good mileage..
Actually for 2k you get a motor just as fast as a V8 that actually has something unique about it and isn't some pos honda motor. When you pop the hood people don't say "another sbm" they say "wow! Slant 6!" and further more you get to see the look on the v8 guys face when your slant stomps there 360...

As for the sound quality...

Now lets look at gass milage. Getting 20 mpg. Your car uses 5 gallons of gas in 100 miles. Now look at the V8, 100 miles at 15 mpg uses 6.667 gallons of gas. Gas in NC is $3.57 a gallon. So in 100 miles you save $5.95. In 33,600 miles, you just saved $2,000. Say gas goes up to $4 a gallon (only a matter of time), the slant saves $6.68 per 100 miles. Sudenly you saved your $2,000 dollars in 29,900 miles. If you car is your daily driver like me then your putting somewhere in the neighborhood of 10K miles a year on your car. So in three years time, your slant pays for itself. Now if your like me and you take frequent roadtrips in your car and rack up 25K miles a year, your slant has paid for itself in just over a year.
