I buy what I don't have to work on much, and if I do, it needs to be fixable. I am the warranty on my vehicles because they are 16 years old. Explorer 5.0 has 230,000+ miles on it with only minor repairs along the way. My Ranger has 125,000 and I would drive it anywhere. The generation "Y" that likes these little throw away cars is a throw away, planned obsolescence generation. If something is 2 years old, it's junk. I come from a different era, where you bought something and kept it for a little longer than that.
