Just because it says "painless wiring" does not make it so if you have no idea what you're doing. It's not plug-n-play like you may want to believe. You're probably best off sticking with the stock wiring that came with the car.
Absolute truth, here. Painless has NO documentation about how the fuse panel is wired. I finally sat down one night and traced it out. Turns out the %@#$@#$$ "switched radio" fuse is on the IGNITION RUN buss instead of the ACCESSORY buss!!!
I'm well schooled in "how these work" and even I was scratchiing my had a few times over this Painful mess.
