Is the auction, & the bids, for real? There's another GL that was used in the movies on ebay & it's still in a "reasonable" price range. Famous cars always bring more money than normal cars but 2.3 mil is a little nuts. I am always suspicious of auctions I see online.
I had a friend who passed away several years ago who made a living from buying & selling famous cars. I got to ride in one of the original Smokey & the Bandit Trans Ams. Very cool car!
