Just a 284-484?
my combo with 484 cam, 69 Dart,3.23 with 7"X27" slicks ran 13.18 @ 108 in third gear. stock 68 340 short block and oil pan,windage tray with hi-volume oil pump. X heads with stock size valves,shaved every time they came off. had to surface intake side to get bolts to line up.stock valve train with CC springs,retainers,hrdnd keepers.LD340 with 3310-2 with metering plate,run with air cleaner on,no scoop.1-3/4" Hooker 5204's with 12" 2-1/2" extensions.MP vacuam dist with chrome box and stock coil,8.8mm ACCEL solid core wires.No mech fuel pump,Carter 4594(?) in back with -8 line to the regulator,3/8" line with 2 fuel filters.cam installed at 108-1/2,when it got hard to start,replaced the chain.Engine had problems but ran strong:needed adjustable rockers;wiped guides out with pushrods being too long.Black secondary spring in carb,rear barrels never fully opened if just barely.I myself could not shift.Never pocket ported heads,only grinding was for valve seats.I ran a Hays S/S pressure plate and disc,never slipped,even side-stepping at 6500(thats what the tach said).car was basically gutted,bench seat,door panels,dash pad,all steel,steel rear rims with slicks and tubes.
