Just pulled my /6......Now I need some answers

Rebuild it , I say 727 , but that might be some old school prejudice . Had 4 904 transmissions blow up on me , after I put in a 727 never had a problem . Though I hear the have improved 904 kits , but 727 is still hard to beat .
