Unless you are also swapping out the rear end there is no need to go with the 727.

But if you aren't putting in a heavier rear, you probably will be eventually.

Unless you are going to go the the track or pulling a heavy trailer go with the 904.
I have heard you will get better gas mileage with the 904.
