My 71 Duster Project

I got the new bucket seats last week and did all of the fit checking to make sure everything was gonna line up. Everything lined up perfectly, so I welded in the re-inforcement brackets. I also did some work on the driver side door striker. I removed the old striker and assessed the damage. I tried to weld it, but the metal was too weak and thin so I ordered a weld in panel from Dynamic Renovation that is a lot more beefier than stock. I am thinking about doing the same to the passenger side as well just to avoid future problems and while I have the car torn down. Finally I did some work on the door hinges. Thanks Ross for the fast turnaround on those! I have not installed them yet, but I plan to install the hinges and shim the doors next weekend. I did some prep on the hinge mount points today though.
