Rockers For 318..Which setup to Use?
Just got back from 2 days at the Spring Fling..the duster ran awesome, drove 175 miles and still have a quarter tank left. It was turning 2,800 RPM @ 75 MPH the whole way there and back. I guess that's one benefit of the 2.76's. Now that i'm back, i think i want to go ahead and change the rockers, pushrods (and shafts if it is a good idea). It has had two lifter on the right side that have clicked since i first got the car. It seems that after I changed the cam and put the new springs on the car, it clicks a little louder now, especially once the oil thins when its warm. I guess it's a good time to change them and fix the problem, since it should be easy and only take a few hours tops.
What type of setup(rockers, pushrods, and shafts if needed) should I use for a stock bottom end 318, 90,000 miles, Comp 260H cam and springs, comp lifters? Should I just get stock replacements from the local parts house or should i find Mopar performance items? How about Comp components?
Also, is it possible to put roller rockers on it, or is it uneccessary? If so, what components?
Thanks
