Yep. Pounded to the frame rail. The 68 SS Dart's my Dad builds are deliberately built exact to 68 Hurst spec's. His clients appreciate the original build quality and his cars have been touted as being some of the most, if not the most comprehensive builds out there. He does build to order so some customer's request different brake set-ups, Hemi configurations (power levels), full race, street/strip. His are strict, period cosmetic builds. I do not intend for this to come across as arrogant in any fashion. Just and attempt to explain why the technique is utilized :-).
