I agree you can keep throwing parts at a basic setup and make serious powe, There is a build on one of the turbo forums its a 421" Ford with twin t-88's made something like 3500 HP non intercooled on race gas only has to do it for 6 seconds or so, 10" tire car . I think everything costs to much these days for those of us that want to play that's where inexpensive turbo kits come in to play. Once you figure out blow through carbs you'll get decent milage power and reliability, If you have the money build an EFI setup and happy tuning :)
