My impression is if they are really that cheap, and there's a markup, and frieght from where-ever, that there are significant differences in the manufacturing between them and the higher priced brands. I'd run a used flat tappet with mismatched used ofters in something before I ran a set of $128 roller lifters. The same result would be expected.
"You cannot get something for nothing". So if you are not paying, you're not getting. Simple as that.
