easy engine mounts

I have a pair of early a-body (64-66) 273 mounts and I'm thinking the right side one (it's rather tall) will work well on the right side of a V8 on a slant 6 k-frame in my '69 Valiant. Anyone try this? It's probably just like the truck mount you're talking about, but I haven't seen the truck mounts.
