If that thing has a vacuum advance, make sure it's on ported, not manifold vacuum.

Don't mess with the jetting at all until you have the timing and curve straightened out.


the vacuum advance is plugged into the vacuum port on the carb, the one next to the choke, not either of the two near the base, they are plugged. How do i limit the distributor?with the spring?
