Holley Carb $500
Proform Main Body $180.00
Proform Metering blocks $50.00 each
Proform Base plate $150.00

What you end up with...a Chinese carb with Holley float bowls.

Total $880.00 resale value..$?

Mighty Demon $499 resale value Very High!

But it's Koo Purple just add a pair of Zebra striped Patent leather shoes and a pink hat and you'll have a new career....LOL

Seriously....Your blue pump is probably not up to the task, break the lines at the carb and stuff them in a fuel jug 11 second car needs to have 1 gallon in 30 seconds, 10 second car in 25 seconds and so on.

If your using the Holley $23 regulator it only flows at about 50 GPH at pressure so that could be your restriction, we also find inadaquate filters in trouble shooting issues similar to yours. A HP-1 Fram for example only flows at about 42 GPH and the chinese copy flows even less with the supplied filter. If you upgrade the filter element to a WIX you can get a the flow up to about 60 GPH but your still working with 3/8 inlets and outlets.

The Holley Blue is a street pump and way over rated, what are the inlet and outlet sizes on the blue pump?....see where I'm going here?

Let's get some time slip stats and we'll see what you need.

Remember if the carbs too big it will lean out as the air speed will not be able to maximize the fuel delivery capacity of the booster, you can take the jets out and it'll still be lean at the top end.

Holley carb..$50.00
Proform body..$100.00
the metering block and base plate are stock holley

so i only have $150.00 in the carb
please dont get offended but my dad had a indy head 440 duster(RONP 's car from moparts) that went 10.70@125 with a HOLLEY BLUE PUMP and REG.
im thinking now that my car MAY not want to go over 6200??....SOMEONE is SUPPOSED to be sending me a dist. to try

Yup he is. I have to fix the light in my Fathers gargage so I can find it. Shoulb be in the morning.
