TTI Header Help

OK, Have them installed...it was all about motor position on the driver side. I actually took off the driver motor mount which was set to the inside of the mounting ears and move it forward. That allowed the motor to move back about 3/4 of an inch and it dropped in place.

Put the mount back where it started but it looks more natural installed forward of the mounting ears on the block??? Whole different discussion but if anyone has any input as to if the motor mounts are supposed to go behind the ear or forward of the mounting ears on either side let me know. I bought this car in boxes, have not worked on one of these in 30 years and it is not as easy as I remember.

Frankly the mount looks more natural in front of the mounting ears on the driver side. But I am not even sure if these mounts are original to the car?????

Anyway, back on topic, the trans is not in the car yet....car is painted, engine is not dressed but will be starting after my beer (earlier reference as to sequence of header installation, possibly other thread) and then waiting on the stall converter to show up....once that is done I am hoping all the other small pieces show up to finish this project up......hoping to fire it up labor day weekend.....drivable end of month, cali black plated by October...registration is in progres.....confidence is coming back.....
