Speedometer Gear for 1973 Duster 340

I need a 36 tooth speedometer gear for my Duster 340--I have an 8.25 rear with 3.55 gears with 26" tall tires. I am not sure if I need the long shaft 36 tooth gear or the short shaft--can anyone tell me which one for the Duster?--Thanks
