side marker light delete

-
weld in a little square and then use some filler metal, the sticks.. melt them with a torch till the hole is filled in, then grind it smothe

I dont know if this will help, but I deleted mine and re placed them with smaller ones in a lower location. They were the surface mounted ones that started in 73. The new ones came off of a BMW.

In Texas, amber in front and red in the rear, visible from so many feet away. That makes them DOT compliant.

just look for cars made in 67, the last year with no side markers.
I've had to fill the front marker lights on a couple of duster fenders because it would take me forever to find a clean one for my 67 valiant.
careful welding though, they warp easy.

Has anyone filled in the side marker light holes in the quarter panels?

I just put stick on reflectors over the openings, red in the back and orange up front.
Looks pretty stock but no lights in them (Just reflectors)

This is a 72 swinger with them deleted.

I did away with them on a 71 Duster a few years ago.
Looked great no problems with the law.I'm going to weld
them shut on my 74 Scamp but not to that point yet.
