Probably Corona Del Mar on the south side of the Newport inlet. Was there last week. The sand beach wraps around like in many movies (Hanama Bay, HI, etc). Probably has been in some movies. The water is warmer and cleaner than Santa Monica Bay. The Wedge on the north side was slamming down 30 ft waves, with some brave and/or foolish body surfers riding them.

Not any pictures of where I think is the best, but some pictures ive captured in my backyard in San Bernardino, CA

Although the San Bernardino Mountains have to be one of my favorites. Lake arrowhead through Runningsprings...its a nice stretch of curvy road to show off the body lean on my dart..

Santa Barbera or Goleta

Very mello and laid back people up there. And there's lots of older cars floating around. Nice mix of small and big town.

it was the sign saying welcome to Arizona!

So many great places in California. I'm a native Californian and enjoyed growing up in SoCal during the musclecar era of '60s and '70s. But I've also enjoyed all the natural beauty of California from the rugged beaches of NorCal down through the redwoods of central california to the sandy beaches of SoCal. Also, the great National Parks of Sequoia and Yosemite, Devils Postpile national monument, the great fishing lakes on the eastern slope of the Sierras.
And, just like the Beach Boys said in song, we've got the prettiest girls in the world!

Yosemite National Park. Born bred and raised right outside one of the gates to that place :)

Yep. Too many people there last time we went, though. Might have to head up in the next few weeks for some weekday camping and more pictures.

LOL, yep, we got married in 1985 when she was 21 and I was 27.
I married above my station, so to speak; she's a much nicer person than I am, and has aged more gracefully as well.
