Deffinetly install the deep pan. A deep pan is always best as it holds more fluid to keep the trans. running cooler. I don't know why anyone would ever suggest running a stock pan. Apparently they don't know much about how transmissions burn up from heat.

Just make sure you got the filter extension with it to extend the filter down low in the pan.
