If your 245/60/15's were quicker than the 28" slicks, the car needs more gear or shorter slicks. 4.30's or 4.56's with the 28" would work better.

Something is a bit soft. Should be around a 14.20 with that MPH and 60'.
Post up the incrementals. I have a suspicion.
