Personally, i would paint it the original color now....it should be easy to spray, and then paint it what you want when you re do it and then paint the jambs, engine compartment etc. to match.
I wouldn't paint the top white though, but that's me. PLEASE don't put those '76 Dart S.E. hubcaps on it! Stick with the dog dish ones on it now!

I'm leaning towards the stock (Fawn) baby crap brown just for ease.
But gold metalic would bring a trophy or 2 next season! Besides I really don't get pumped about paint unless metallics and custom oversprays are involved. I might fall asleep painting the stock color. It's so non motivating!!

HAHA! You mean those unmarked painted in the center hubcaps in earlier post? LOL!! We were thinking of those for our Duster!
The Dog dish caps are our 64's winter caps! Baby won't be needing them sense she is vacationing in our garage this winter and is already in there!!
So I guess Lump has the dog dishes on till spring.
