1969 440 4bbl, how good a motor?

That engine would be great to go back in a 69 GTX if that is what it came out of. On the passenger side of the engine just above the oil pan there should be some identification stamped in the block. I have seen the VIN prefix stamped on some of those engines so it would start with a RS if out of a GTX. It may only include the last part of the VIN but worth checking.
