surges after running for awhile

new condensor and cap, would have put new points in but crap the give you at Kragen is all wrong all the time....

shes real happy when I stomp on it. but she dont like idle at all nor light throttle.. seems the idle and cruse circuits are not getting enough fuel or something...

how does one change the fuel supplied to thes circuits on the edelbrock 1406? jets or float? i must find out... I have a new 1406 sitting on my table but would much rather figure whats wrong and fix so i can get the 300$ back for that new carb...

BTW; That new eddy 1406 should run right out of the box. We had bought a new one for our 67 and it cleared up alot of problems. I do understand wanting to save the $300 though. Did your new eddy come with a dvd of the videos? Just wondering, they are the same ones on the link above. I found the videos really helpful.
