70 duster: updating, and a no-dough pro-touring makeover
i had a blast, it was great to spend some father son time with my dad. we dont get to do that as much as we used to.
and it also goes to show that no matter how shaken down and finished a car is, there are still ghosts in the machine. its part of the fun and aggrevation of my life.
hell, everything i own has ghosts in the machine
2002 subaru legacy 2.5 GT: odd cylender dropping at random times. no problems found
99 camry 240K on it. will randomly not idle upon start up. no problems found
1989 GMC 1500 extended cab long bed, 75K. random miss, and random electrical gremlins. no problems findable.
the ghost in the machine is a well understood part of my life. the duster is no exception. you just have to wait for something to break bad enough to find the problem.
and its part of the fun of owning old cars for me. finding, fixing, and tweaking stuff.
