3M spray contact adhesive is pretty easy to use for this as well. Cut your plastic to match the outline of the trim panel and make it a little smaller. spray the adhesive on the back of the plastic and and some on the door surface, make sure to have the windows all the way up to avoid overspray of the glue on the window, slap it on and snap the door panel on - done.
