Exactly what I meant. The "keyswitch" voltage goes through the bulkhead connector. If the circuit path from the battery -- through the bulkhead/ firewall connector -- through the ignition switch and connector -- and back out the bulkhead/ firewall connector -- has a poor connection somewhere, you won't get "good" voltage to the ignition.
