I dislike THE LOOKS of almost anything bigger than 15" that I have seen on the older cars.... but then again, I like the old drag car look with the steam roller tires in the back, with lots of sidewall. It also depends on the type of driving you do. Driving down the freeway, taller sidewalls will give you a softer ride.... on my Willys wagon, I had 33" swampers on it and dropped the air down to 8psi when off road. It made a real soft ride BUT, don't try to get on the freeway like that, it did not corner too well (LOL). shorter sidewalls are much better for cornering.
