ramcharger, you would love to see my buddy's collection of trucks. he has an old 68 4x4 firetruck, just got a 73 parks district 4x4 1 ton flat bed that he is putting a 9 ft stepside on it, and i think still has his 4x4 1 ton longbed that is really nice.

Very cool stuff. I'd really like to see a pic of that fire truck! Living here in Colorado pretty much mandates having a 4WD to get around the outdoors (Camping, fishing, etc.) and towing the fiance's race car, plus I'll need the truck to tow home my new project A-Body when the time comes. I've seen at least two or three darts out here in restorable (but not necessarily driveable) condition for under $1500, so I know their out there.
