t5 trans swap?

Just food for thought, check out the mustang forums for more info on the Gforce tranny. I don't know if anyone has heard of breakage of one yet.

I even found info of a guy using a much "weaker" cobra R tranny on a 400+hp 400+tq on a road race mustang with out much trouble. A lot of what i read said that the clutch & driving style were what killed T5's

Also the apparent downside to the TKO is that some people complain of notchy shifting compared to the T5.


Sidenote, just got my quicktime bellhousing tonight. Tomorrow i'll be hunting for a T5 at the wreckers.
