I don't know if its possible behind the big block.

The supra transmission(r154) involved using a bellhousing from a 3.9 dakota w/ the ax15 transmission. This bellhousing bolts to any mopar smallblock and the ax15 has the same bolt pattern as the r154.

Google mopar r154 swap and look for the link to slantsix.org. I believe they have a pretty good write up on it.
