Maybe it is an 8 second flat tappet car, this past weekend at Edgewater, at just after 4 in the afternoon it ran 9.070 with a 5.741 eighth mile et, before the night was over it ran 5.696 in the eighth. It was an eighth mile race. My calculations says at the 5.696 et based on the same relationship as the 9.07 - 5.741 run would have been 8.9989. Surprised me....
